Lil Cheezers Gourmet Grilled Cheesemobile has been one of the most popular Louisville food trucks for over a year. Lil Cheezers now has the unique opportunity to go brick and mortar in the best location imaginable. 938 Baxter Avenue in the Highlands is the new home of the first Lil Cheezers Gourmet Grilled Cheese Restaurant.
Old and new grilled cheese favorites are on the expanded Lil Cheezers Menu. We will offer lengthy hours of operation so “getting yo cheeze on” will be easier to accomplish. Our projected opening date will be in early August with the potential of late July. Later this month we will promote the exact opening date.
No worries… After aiding other truckers and Mayor Greg Fischer in spawning the food truck industry in Louisville and making it easier to operate such a concept within the Louisville Metro, our Lil Cheezers trucks will still continue to roll.
That’s right, trucks. Plural. The original Cheezer is currently getting an overhaul to get it in tip top shape. We will start to build the second truck as soon as we have completed the overhaul of the first truck. In the very near future, Lil Cheezers will be available in multiple areas of the city on a daily basis.
Lil Cheezers was saddened by the closing of the former business, Jamie’s 14K Cupcakes. To continue on for her loyal fans and to show our respect and support for her small local business we will continue to offer her cupcakes as a dessert option in Lil Cheezers.
Thanks for everyone who has supported food trucks and small local entrepreneurs in this fine city. Its all worked towards making Louisville a much more fun and versatile place to live.
