Restaurants that deliver?

It's such a pain to find a place that delivers in Fern Creek! Only Pizza places do, (Bearnos was good, but 3 times the delivery guy always claims he doesn't "carry" change, and gives me a hard time. I love to tip, but not when you demand it, so I stopped ordering from there...), and take out taxi took over 2 hours to bring us our food, and they charge quite a bit. Anyone know of any places that deliver? Such a shame we can't find a place! thanks.

I can't help with the area's delivery availability, but to reference the delivery driver's inability to make change: really??? I would have sent him/her somewhere to make change, and if it happened twice, placed a brief and courteous call to the establishment. I've never heard of this - carrying change is part of the job. Totally inexcusable, and worthy of management attention.

I should have complained, I was holding hope they'd send a different driver lol! I've known so many people that have worked in restaurants, and the top advice is never to complain about a place unless you don't plan on eating there again. Lots of gross stories on food tampering I could've complained the last time, oh well.

Does take out taxi deliver there?

There used to be a Chinese restaurant in Hikes Point that delivered. It's been years ago so they may be OOB. It seems other cities our size have a ton of restaurants that deliver. What's up with tha?

I input the zip code I found online for Fern Creek (40291) onto Take Out Taxi's site, and it seems they do deliver there. http://www.takeouttaxi.com/

I've never used them, but I have a Groupon or Living Social or Deal Chicken coupon with them, so I will try them sometime.

I thought the original poster said Take Out Taxi took too long and charged too much for the service.

about 1.5 hours. They said that all of a sudden they had a huge influx of orders. I hope it wasn't my own fault for talking about it here. *lol*
