While I love having more restaurants in downtown New Albany, it sure was nice to have a great restaurant closer to home that was not a MacDonalds, Taco Belle, or Arby's. Nice to have two wonderful restaurants in the same area with New Albany Exchange and New Albanian. Hope they are just looking for a larger location.

Earth Friends Cafe is also in that same area, for those looking for something other than the fast food...

I welcome this fantastic addition to Downtown New Albanys vibrant independent restaurant scene. With this and the recent announcement of Dragon Kings Daughter coming to Bank Street I honestly think New Albany has one of the best independent restaurant scenes in the Louisville Metro area.
I had dinner at The NA Exchange last Friday evening and it was superb. Chef Rick nailed a watermelon tomato gazpacho as well as a stuffed quail over grits with a bitter green salad.

Wow, I go on vacation for a week and look whats happens! Just to let everyone know,YES we are involved in a project in downtown New Albany. I promise to have more info for everyone later today.
