"Manly Menu" for Father's Day at Proof on Main

Proof on Main will celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday June 17, 2012 with a "manly menu" specially crafted for fathers. Chef Michael Paley will be offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $45 with an optional Old Grand-Dad bourbon flight for $20.

Dinner will consist of a chickpea and country ham fritters first course; a grilled beef ribeye with roasted marrow bone, potato pave and mushroom broth entrée; and a double chocolate molten cake with salted caramel gelato and bourbon cherries for dessert.

In honor of Father’s Day, a bourbon flight of Old Grand-Dad 86 Lazy Eye, Bonded Manhattan and 114 Taste can be paired with each course. This menu will be available in addition to Proof on Main’s regular dinner menu.

What: Father’s Day Dinner at Proof on Main

When: Sunday June 17, 2012

Time: 5:30-10pm

Where: Proof on Main, 702 W. Main St.

Cost: $45 for a three-course prix fixe menu, $20 bourbon pairing flight optional

Corbett's Father's Day Brunch

At Robin G.'s suggestion, I wanted to inform everyone of Corbett's Father's Day Brunch. Join us on Sunday, June 17, 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, for a special 3-course prix fixe menu offering guests selections of starters, main courses and desserts. The cost is $35 per person and includes coffee, iced tea or soda. Tax and gratuity are additional. Reservations are required. For more information please call the restaurant at (502) 327-5058.

Guaca-Mole will be open on Sundays starting June 10th from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Brunch and Dinner. We have our regular lunch menu and one small brunch menu. So bring dad for an early fathers day gift.

Brunch Menu:

Chilaquiles Rojos con Pollo : Spicy shredded chicken, creame guajillo sauce, tortilla chips, melted Oaxaca cheese, sour cream, cilantro and fried eggs.

Mexican Steak and Eggs: 10oz NY steak grilled, fried eggs, chipotle demi, Mole fries, rajas, queso fresco and sour cream.

Granola and Yogurt: Mix Fruits, Yogurt and Granola Topped with Organic Agave syrup.

Cemita de Huevo y Tocino: Mexican Sandwish with refried beans, chipotle, arugula, chorizo, Apple Wood smoked bacon, sour cream, avocados and platanos machos.

Torrejas: Mexican style French toast, tequila flambé bananas, fresh fruit, salted cajeta carmel.

Short Rib Huevos Rancheros: Crispy tostada topped with black beans, Guajillo braise short ribs, crema, queso fresco, avocados and cilantro.

Five-course Father's Day beer dinner at Limestone

On June 15, 2012. Limestone will host its annual five-course Father’s Day Beer Dinner.

The event starts at 6:30, and at this point we anticipate a special guest who will entertain our guests with beer and food trivia, as well explaining beer and food pairing paradigms.

Dinner is $45 per person for adults, all-inclusive; youngsters 9-18 may dine for $20 each, and those under 8 may dine for free. Reservations are recommended. Call 426-7477.

Price per person for adults is $25, those 62 and over are $21, while youngsters of age 5 to 18 are charged $18. Kids under the age of 5 will eat with no charge.
