Thank you to everyone who came out and spent a beautiful Sunday with us at Speakeasy Sunday.
We have such a wonderful community of chefs and restaurant workers and beloved diners!
Through your generosity we are on our way to helping friends in need.

This was one of the best organized charity event I have ever attended. For the first event of APRON it was a great success and much fun. Food was wonderful but best of all were the restaurants featuring signature cocktails. Wonderful stuff. Looking forward to next years.

The final tabulations should come out later today (Wednesday), Will. Believe me, we can't wait to know ourselves and let everyone else know, too. Naturally we already have a basic idea how much was raised, but we are so close to a really cool number, we'd like to count all the nickels, dimes and pennies (and collect those last few silent auction item payments) before we make the announcement.

Thanks to everyone who came, it was a blast! I don't know how many times in the last couple days I've heard people say they wish they could have been there, however other obligations or work got in the way. That's okay! We understand people really do have other stuff going on in their lives (for instance, I don't know how many social occasions/obligations I was forced to skip during Derby season, I was so busy).

If you weren't able to make it, we missed you. But if you planned to come and couldn't, and still want to make a contribution, please visit our website at aproninc.org and click the "donate" button. Our first offline fundraiser may be over, but you can still give :D

Thanks to all the help from our friends we took in more than $10,000.
This is a great beginning to our mission of helping our restaurant community members in need.
I cant wait to see what's to come.
