I am on a mailing list for Lilly's and thought there were some members of the forum that might enjoy this meal. I've had their pork belly using various methods of preparation and have never been disappointed. Can only imagine what they can do with the other bellies.
Lilly’s Bistro Hosts “Bellies and Beer”, Kicking Off Summer Event Schedule
Louisville, Kentucky – Wednesday, June 6th at 6:30PM – Lilly’s Bistro is taking it’s well known Beer Pairing Dinner to a whole new level. “Bellies and Beer” features four courses of different ‘bellies’, each paired with an excellent selection of craft beers. Grouper, Salmon, and Pork bellies will be making an appearance, as well as a surprise addition.
This beer tasting affair will highlight the up and coming trend of pairing a salty belly with a limited edition beer, and celebrates the beer culture’s rise and it’s secured spot on the foodie scene. The flavor and texture of the ‘bellies and beer’ Chef Kathy Cary has combined are enough to give you bragging rights on the “best hump day ever” for years to come.
