Mexican Restaurants in Clarksville....

by Becky M » Fri May 25, 2012 6:00 pm

if anyone if familiar with Clarksville on this side of the world.... there is a strip Eastern Blvd that has quite a few small Latino restaurants.

has anyone ever been? any of these that are recommended? we usually go to La Rosita Carniceria and have tacos at the counter. just wondering if any of the other places are just as good.

We have tried Mexico Lindo, which is front of what used to be an old Peddler's Mall i believe. their tacos are 1.25, not a fan of the asada, but i really like their carnitas and they serve their salsa verde warm... very nice.

My car just keeps going straight to Senor Iguanas every time I cross the rive intent on eating Mexican. I think it is possessed.

But I'll see if I can borrow a friend's car and check out the places you mention.

Becky, is La Herradura still over there? It was one of the first on that strip, and we liked it a lot. Haven't been for ages, though, so I can't say if it's under the same management or even still around.

I'm with you Ronnie! My hands down favorite is Senor Iguanas. Love the Chili Colorado and the Pork en adobo!!! The corn tortillas are tasty too!

That's it! You've convinced me, Lisa! Tomorrow it's Senor Iguana's for a burrito chili colorado (one of my favorites!)
