Food Truck Food Court - Memorial Day Monday

by Leah S » Fri May 25, 2012 9:36 am

There will be a number of food trucks corralled next to the Flock of Fins in Waterfront Park. There will also be a big bunch of picnic tables adjacent. It's officially in conjunction with the Mayor's Hike, Bike and Paddle, but we're wanting to serve food whether you hike, bike, paddle or not! We'll be in place around 8:30 am. I don't know if anyone is serving breakfast, but we have to get in place before the 10,000 expected people show up at the location. Some caution about trying to drive our trucks thru crowds . . .

As soon as I get a comprehensive list of the trucks involved, I'll post.

Weeellll, this thing seems kind of "fluid." noonish or until the crowd goes away or we run out of food. If we've got food and people are buyin' we stay.

The Flock of Finns is the outdoor collection of public art (brightly painted steel birds, ducks, roosters) by the late folk artist Marvin Finn.
