Speakeasy Sunday on the 3rd- who's going?

I wouldn't miss it- I think this could be one of the best events of the year ( and a really good value at only $25). But unfortunately Brian now has a business trip, so I'm going stag. Who else is going?

It's very doubtful that I'll be wearing a costume either- an old friend reminded me that I wore a flapper costume to a college party, but for some reason it no longer seems to fit.
A fun idea, but I assume most people will be coming in "2012" dress.

C.) I've been wondering if the price of admission is just that - meaning, "will it cost me $25 to enter, and I would continue to pay for all food and beverage inside"? I can get behind that as a donation, but I've just been wondering for the sake of clarity.

It's hard to believe but $25 gets you in the door and allows you to try all of the wonderful offerings available from the fabulous restaurants involved. We have an incredible lineup of restaurants offering samples of food and desserts as well as cocktails, beer and wine. Does anyone have a full list of auction items you could post? I know some of us would love to see those items in advance to start "budgeting'. Also, there may be folks who have a conflict who could ask a friend to bid for them.

Great idea Deb! We will work on a list and have it up sometime tomorrow. I know we have several more gift certificates coming this week so the list will hopefully grow.
