Winston’s Restaurant Hosts Jim Beam and Storybook Mountain Wine Dining Event on June 7
Four-Course Dinner Includes Book Signings, Wine Discussion and Mixology Presentation
On Thursday, June 7, Winston’s Restaurant at Sullivan University will host a dinner showcasing Jim Beam brands, Storybook Mountain wines and local authors Albert Schmid and Bernie Lubbers. The evening features a four-course dinner created by chef John Castro and sous chef Tyson Long, a wine discussion by Vintner Select’s Jeff Hickenlooper, a mixology presentation by Lubbers and A.J. Holley of Jim Beam Global and book signings by both authors. The event begins with a welcome cocktail at 6:30 p.m. followed by the mixology presentation at 7 p.m. The seated dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m. The price is $58 per person or $98 per couple plus tax, gratuity and optional book purchases. Winston’s Restaurant is a teaching facility for Sullivan University’s National Center for Hospitality Studies (NCHS) and is recognized as a Distinguished Restaurant of North America. The NCHS prepares students for careers in the hospitality field by offering six Associate of Science (A.S.) degrees and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
