Baxter Station Bar & Grill

by Javier Cendejas » Sun Nov 04, 2007 3:35 pm

On Friday evening I went to Baxter Station and was more than pleased with both the service and the food. My good friend Andrew was very attentive and welcomed me warmly.

I ordered a blacken chicken salad. In my opinion it was one of the best salads I have had in Louisville. All the flavours were harmoniously blended and delicious. The lettuce was very fresh and what ever dressing came in it did not need any other additional dressing. I really enjoyed it. They brought two bread grain rolls which were very tasty.

Thanks Andrew. I looks like the business is booming and that is nice to see. I will definately visit more often.

Amy,

You might like the Varanese version of this described on their menu as:

Warm pistachio encrusted goat cheese served over baby spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, kalamata olives, grape tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion with a tomato-balsamic vinaigrette 6.5

I had this last Sunday night and thought it was really good.

I haven't been for a while but everytime I have been it's been great. They do a simple steamed mussels that's divine. I like being able to dine casually (jeans) and eat fine food.
