Old Louisville Farmer's Market

by Kris Billiter » Wed May 16, 2012 3:33 pm

Good afternoon everyone. Just wanted to get a quick word in to let everyone know that today is the first day of the Old Louisville Farmer's Market. It is held in our church parking lot (Walnut Street Baptist) on 3rd in between St. Catherine and Oak. Its a small market, but has some really great vendors. Lots of veggies, bread, etc. New this year is On Tapp Dairy Farm with eggs, really good looking chicken, and every veal cut you can imagine including sweet breads! This market doesn't get mentioned a lot so I wanted to make sure everyone knew it was here. Thanks!

I've purchased the Tapp Dairy veal cutlets multiple times - excellent quality and flavor. Really wonderful to have them on-hand in my freezer too- they thaw and cook very quickly on a night when I've neglected to figure out in advance what we are having....
