Who's got the best ones in town?
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!

Dundee Tavern has some yummy seasoned and rather spicy fries. Uptown's are good too.

In addition to Palermo, as mentioned, the steak frites at L&N Wine Bar are excellent, and the frites on the evening bistro menu at Caffe Classico are also outstanding.

Palermo's are good, but L&N beats them hands down. Twice-blanched, in trans-fat-free lard, the way the Great Spaghetti Monster intended.

I had to go in just to have fries at the bar the other night because I hadn't had them since June! I dip mine in mayonnaise.

Sweet potato fries at Havana Rumba
Garlic fries at BBC
Buffalo chips with cheese and Cajun seasoning at BW3
Steak N Shake fries
Great Steak and Potato fries
Penn Station fries

I also loved Bojangles and Rally's fries. Arby's curly fries are good but used to be better.

I love the fries at Palermo's and the garlic fries at BBC are great.
And I always enjoy a late night snack of fries at Cahoot's as well.

The waffle fries at Big Dave's Outpost are quite scrumptious. I've also taken a liking to the cheese fries at the Granville Inn and/or Flanagan's.

A guilty pleasure...

by Suzi Bernert » Sat Nov 03, 2007 9:02 pm

....I admit it, I love the cheap, crinkle cut fries when they are hot and fresh from the fryer. Since I don't like katsup, I love them with tartar sauce or mayo. I had some great ones last night at J & J Auction in Indiana. When i see them at fairs and church picnics, I can't resist them! I DO like the fresh fries of many of our local establishments.

I'll add another vote for Palermo's, but I have to admit that I agree with Cahoot's as well.
