Black Rock Grille

by Mary Anne » Tue May 01, 2012 12:23 pm

Stumbled out my work front door at Muhammad Ali and Floyd and there was a shiny new food truck parked! Black Rock Grille. Burgers and fries. Very very good fries. I, even though I had already eaten, had to try the fries. Came with a choice of dipping sauce, garlic mayo is what I selected. I wish I had room for a burger, but next time. They have a facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/black.rock.grille with their locations and details.
I am loving these food trucks!

They were at Food Truckus Ruckus. We sampled two of their burgers - both were very good. Oh, and the fries were definitely good as well.

BF and I grabbed lunch today from BRG. They were really tasty. The fries were great - we both got the garlic mayo to dip them in, and the burgers were wonderful. Well seasoned, juicy, cooked with a nice pink center - we both got the Stink and Swine burger: bacon, gorgonzola and LTO (lettuce, garlic marinated tomatoes, red onion). Really great combo, and their other burgers look delicious too.

My favorite part of their operation personally is that the front of the truck is open so that you can see the entire interior - you can tell how clean and well maintained this cook-space is. The floors are clean, the walls are clean, and you can watch as your food is being prepared (and chat with the delightful "counter girl" and/or the chef).

Kudos to BRG - very enjoyable meal, and we'll definitely be hunting them down around the metro.
