Free bagel and cream cheese at Bruegger's April 26

by Robin Garr » Wed Apr 25, 2012 12:31 pm

The wording is a little ambiguous here, but Bruegger's PR person assures me that the free bagel and cream cheese is available to everyone tomorrow; you don't have to buy a Derby lunch to qualify.

On Thursday, April 26, Bruegger's new Louisville bakery will celebrate its first Kentucky Derby by offering its neighbors and loyal customers a free bagel and cream cheese, along with a boxed lunch ordering option to take to ¡°The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports.¡±

Located in the St. Matthews community at 119 Breckenridge Lane, Bruegger¡¯s is offering individual boxed lunches made exclusively for Derby watchers. At just $9.99 per person, guests can choose boxed lunches that feature sandwiches or salads served with chips, pickle and a scratch-baked cookie.

Sandwich lovers can choose from Bruegger¡¯s many options served on fresh-baked bread, bagels or Bruegger¡¯s trademark Softwich with unique flavor combinations such as the Leonardo da Veggie, Roma Roast Beef or Turkey Chipotle Club. Salad lovers can choose a half-sandwich with a garden side salad, chips and a pickle; or a side salad and fruit salad with a honey grain bagel. For those who enjoy watching the races at home with friends, Bruegger¡¯s catering spreads feature its various house specialties including bagel boxes with smoked salmon and cream cheese and group sandwich boxes. Orders must be placed by Thursday May 3rd.

While ordering their boxed lunches, customers can try one of Bruegger¡¯s famous New York-style bagels with their choice of cream cheese at no charge from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. No coupon is necessary to receive the offer. Limit one per guest.
