Upscale good food: Asiatique's basement lounge. The Bristol.

Cheap good food: La Bamba ("Burritos Bigger Than Your Head") or Spinelli's Pizza.

Bad good food: White Castle.

Diner food: Cafe 360, Twig & Leaf.

Twig & Leaf?

by Sanjay S » Fri Nov 02, 2007 12:47 am

Robin,

I'm not sure if Twig & Leaf is open late anymore - I was there last week and they closed at 9pm. The owner said that's when he usually closes now. This was on a weekday and I didn't ask if they're open later on weekends.

Thanks for the update, Sanjay! What a change ... that's almost like White Castle closing at 9!

I know many people have issues with service there (I have always had great service), but I still recommend Cafe 360.

Depending on how late you're talking - Ramsis is a great late night spot.

I thought I posted this last night but I must have hit the wrong button, so I'll try again.
60 West (formerly Cafe Emily) is open to 1 or 2am and offers an interesting selection of late night small plates.

I was going to say Ramsi's as well. And how about Juanita's in Old Louisville.

The Twig & Leaf is open 24 hours on Friday & Saturday. We close at 9pm the rest of the week. We open at 7am Monday thru Friday; come on in for breakfast.

Thanks for the reply. I think that last night eateries are a lacking venue in this city. I know when I get off work I would like to go somewhere that I don’t have to get my own glass of water and the food is not fried and greasy. I don’t think it is asking a lot but maybe. For anyone looking to make an investment and start a business I like it would be a good one to look into. Once again thanks.
