I came across this in USAToday. It is an article about Hotels having food trucks. It turns out they are not so much food trucks as they are food stands.
The Auberge Saint-Antoine in Quebec City will open a second food truck by its restaurant's chef in June. This is an exception. I know 21C Museum Hotel has their Gelato stand in good/warm weather.
So what think/say you about brick and mortar places getting trucks. Chik Fil A is getting one in D.C. and Jack In The Box is developing a truck. Fad? Future? Bad idea? Great Idea?
Now if Dairy Kastle wanted to do the Chili Dogs and Veggie Dogs in a truck I would be all over that. But a Mickey D's truck or Wendy's truck or other FF companies not so sure.
