Could it be both?![]()
I do get a sense that a LOUD ENVIRONMENT is the new hip thing. This was my one dislike about 732, as it is about Harvest and Garage Bar. It's almost insane at The Silver Dollar, but given its honky-tonk theme it makes sense there. I pretty much suck it up, tell myself "don't be old" and just go, but if I want adult conversation, I make plans elsewhere. Wiltshire is about the only place in Nulu I can think of that's suitable for conversation, and even that can vary depending on how deep people are stacking up at the bar.

I'm hoping maybe sometime the smoking ordinance will be amended to prevent smoking in any area where food is served. Many times eating outside is a very pleasant experience until the smokers ruin it for everyone.

The only place this has been problimatic for me is Seviche - everyone on their patio seemingly smokes while they eat? I think restuanteurs should consider baning smoking where they serve food or segregate that population to one area and not intermingled with the general dining public.
