Lunch at Vincenzo's

by Ellen P » Thu Mar 22, 2012 7:25 pm

Today. Work. 7 of us. Fruit and cheese plate for appetizer - 2 of them - more than enough. Bread was served. Two of us had the special: salmon, scallops, vegetables, potato cake. I'm not putting in all of their descriptors obviously - very good, nicely done, not a huge plate, not small - JAR. Others had various pasta dishes and couldn't finish them. Raves for those plates all around. One person told our waiter about 5 items she wanted in a dish and they fixed it for her. Too full for desert, but we had one 'almond joy' to sample.
The menu prices were more than reasonable. Lovely setting. Wonderful service - Lee, I think. Wasn't very busy but we were in alittle after twelve.
First visit in a long time. Highly recommend this long time jewel. I guess you could say it was my 'new' restaurant for the month - except for the ones we hit in NYC during the tourney.
Go Cards, Ellen
