Habana Blues Tapas Restaurant monthly wine dinner

This is just to anounce that starting next month we will have a monthly wine dinner at Habana Blues Louisville location....for our first dinner we partner up with De Wet's Toast of Kentucky Wine Distributors, LLC and we will be using 5 of their wonderful Spanish wines to pair with 5 of the new tapas we will be adding to our menu

Lunch Menu
Tres en Uno (3 things in one plate. Any of these sandwiches with any two sides for just 6.99)
-1/2 Cuban Sandwich: Roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard pressed on Cuban bread.
-1/2 Pan con Embutidos: Spanish chorizo, Serrano ham, bacon and Manchego cheese pressed on Cuban bread.
-1/2 Elena Ruth: Roasted turkey, strawberry jam, cream cheese and Swiss cheese pressed on Cuban bread.
-1/2 De Vegetales: Grilled zucchini, yellow squash, roasted red peppers and caramelized onions topped with sweet chili aioli and pressed on Cuban bread.
-Habana Blues Slider: Black Angus ground beef, Spanish chorizo, Swiss cheese, shoe string fries, spring mix, tomatoes and caramelized onions.
-Grilled Chicken Slider: Grilled marinated chicken breast topped with spring mix, tomatoes and caramelized onions.
-Grilled Grouper Slider: Cilantro and parsley marinated grilled grouper topped with a sweet chili aioli, spring mix, tomatoes, and caramelized onions.
-Empanada of your Choice: Fried flaky pastry stuffed with your choice of chicken ropa vieja, Cuban style ground beef or vegetables.
-Pan con Huevo y Chorizo: Two fried eggs over medium served on artisan bread with grilled Spanish chorizo, fig jam, spring mix and topped with avocado-lime aioli.

Skillet Potatoes, Sweet Potato Fries, French Fries, Cup of white rice, Yuca Frita, Maduros, Cup of Black Beans, Cup of Caldo Gallego, Cup of Soup of the Day, ½ Caesar’s Salad, ½ Palmito Salad, ½ Caprese Salad, ½ Habana Blues Salad, ½ Ensalada Cubana, ½ Chef’s Salad.

here is the menu for the wine dinner

First course- Chef's Salad: Bibb lettuce, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, red onions and feta cheese. Topped with a honey-sherry vinegar-Dijon vinaigrette.
Piqueras 2010 Sauvignon-Verdejo.
Second course- Sandia con Jamon: Watermelon slices wrapped in Jamon Serrano and topped with fresh crumbled goat cheese and mint.
Castillo de Almansa 2010 Rosado Syrah.
Third course- Ceviche de Atun con Melon: Sushi grade tuna and watermelon ceviche.
Bodegas Obergo finca la Mata.
MOJITO SORBET
Fourth course- Pincho de Res: Skewer of beef tenderloin and caramelized shallots served on top of a mushroom Demi-Glace.
Rebel.lia Bobal Garnacha, Grenache and Tempranillo.
Fifth course- Cerdo a la Parrilla: Peruvian aji panka basted and grilled pork tenderloin served on top of aji amarillo-pineapple mojo.

Rafael, I'm not a wine drinker myself but I suggested your wine dinner to a friend who's a bit of a connoisseur. She LOVED it and is already talking about coming back to your next one!
