Tavern on Fourth

It probably wasn't brought up earlier because it's part of 4th Street Live! Even if it's designed for the over 30 crowd, they're still going to have to wade through the drunken 20 somethings to get there. It may be good but I certainly won't hold my breath.

I wonder how much this is going to cost the taxpayers of Louisville!

As far as I'm concerned, "The Tavern" on 4th has been at the 1500 block for years and is not too concerned with catering to any particular age group. :roll: The Home of the Knocker Burger, I spent many a drunken night between there and the Granville Inn in my early 20's when I lived in Old Louisville. A great dive bar that is open and serving 22 hrs. a day. :D I vaguely "remember" stumbling out of there one Derby Day at about 10:00 AM and heading to the Infield after being there darn near the entire previous night. They don't have to close the pre-requisite 2 hrs. a day on Derby Eve and stay open 24hrs. :wink:
