So glad you've posted this! The writer is a former seminary student and longtime NYC waiter. His blog gained enough attention that he was offered a publishing contract and is now finishing his first book.

From his perspective as a server, he offers sharply observed vignettes of his customers and co-workers that pull you into a world of human beings that are complex in their moments of both selfishness and grace.

Pretty great, if you like that sort of thing.
