CPC will donate 100% of Sales on 3/6/12

Tuesday, March 6th
The Charlestown Pizza company will donate 100% of our sales to the Clark County Chapter of the American Red Cross.

We are proud members of our community and feel for the victims of this storm.
We would not be successful without the support of the many small communities of Clark County and Tuesday we would like to give back.

Please come out and show your support for those affected by the storms.

Eat, drink, and enjoy the company of friends while generously supporting your fellow Hoosiers in their time of need.

We're also planning a beer event for the same purpose, please contact me or your distributor if you're interested in donating beer and/or time.

Our beer event will be on Saturday March 10th at The Charlestown Pizza Company.

From 12- 9 on Saturday local breweries/distributors will be donating their time and beer to help the victims of the tornadoes.

We'll be hosting this event as a "beer festival." Brewers will be set up inside the CPC dispensing their donated beers. The NABC, BBC, & Starlight Distribution have already confirmed beer donations and more breweries are sure to follow suit.

ALL of the sales of draft beer from this event will be donated directly to the Clark County Indiana Chapter of the Red Cross.

Additionally, we will be hosting a silent auction and raffle. Local businesses & individuals have stepped up and donated several great beer related items and great beers for the auction and raffles.

Just an update

Today the citizens of Clark County and many others ate us out of house and home at the CPC

We raised over $5000 for the Clark County Chapter of the American Red Cross !!!

Sorry, if anyone couldn't get through the doors or got shut out at the last minute ... we did the best we could under amazing circumstances.
The phone started ringing with carry out orders two hours before we opened and the restaurant was full pretty much all day.
We ran out of dough twice today and simply could not make it fast enough to keep up with the demand.

Facebook apparently took our event viral throughout Clark County and although we knew we were going to be busy, WOW what a response !!!

A special thank you to the half dozen volunteers that came out today and ran food, rolled dough, cut onions, washed dishes, and overall helped Tajana & I maintain our sanity.

AND
we're going to do another benefit on Saturday with our Hoosier Beer Helps Hoosiers Beer Festival
with ALL draft beer sales going to the Clark County chapter of the Red Cross and the proceeds from a silent auction and beer raffle going to the same organization

NABC 2 - 1/6 bbl kegs (Rye barrel aged Yakima & Elsa Von Horizon)

That's amazing Shawn. What a HUGE amount of money out of your own pocket- I hope you're excessively proud of your good deeds. My cats (cherished babies of mine) are tickled pink to call you family. You're such a good person!
