The Neighborhood Cafe....

i plan on having a lunch date there soon and was wondering if anyone had any opinions on them. honestly, i am a little iffy about the lunch in a waffle cone. i would probably get mine served on the scone......

When I drove by the Neighborhood Cafe yesterday, it looked kind of deserted. Now I see on Facebook that it closed last week. The owner says:

"My daddy taught me a lot of things growing up…some I agree with, others I don’t. But one thing that stuck was this: “When the price is right, sell it”. So that’s what I’ve done."

She doesn't says what the new owner plans for that space.

Funny, I drove past it two weeks ago, it looked open, and I thought, "Hey, I kind of liked that cone sandwich. I ought to go back."

I think it may have been the location. Though, it doesn't seem to affect Lonnie's next door! I went twice (once for lunch, once for breakfast). It actually may have been the price. I think a large cone is the best deal- the soup was kind of small to make up for half a cone, imo.
