Unless they've found a way around it (local distributor?), this may not be available in Kentucky, where the law doesn't permit direct shipment of alcoholic beverages to individuals.

Yeah, I get wine from a couple of places, too. I don't publicize it on the Internet, though. ;)

I think a lot of places are beginning to ship to Kentucky because Kentucky has never had an enforcement action for the law that bans direct shipment. It's amazing how much pottery we receive from Sonoma!

Just tried to order some beer from beerjobber; they ship to IN, but not KY.

The Kentucky law is actually very unclear because a few years ago the distributor lobby "bought" a new shipping law that was later declared unconstitutional by the federal court. Did this mean we reverted back to the old law or have none? It's not clear. But because the lobby "bought" a felony provision in the old law, a lot of shippers prefer to steer clear, even though the felony applies only on a second conviction, and as you say, there has never been a first conviction. ABC doesn't seem to enforce the law, probably because they know the distributor lobby "bought" the legislature.
