Competition BBQ Judging Class

Just in case anyone is interested in this kinda thing...

The Bourbon City BBQ Festival will be hosting a KCBS BBQ Judging Class. The class will be held in Bardstown, KY, on May 19th. Class registration deadline will be May 5, 2012. Once we receive your paid application, we will send you a letter confirming your application has been received. We will also send you some information on motels that are in the area along with information about our town and what is available for you to do while you’re here. On Saturday the 19th, class registration will start at 9:00a.m., EST. Class will start at 10:00 a.m. and run till 3-3:30pm.

Class fees are: $50 for KCBS members
$85 for non-members ([i]Non-Members will receive a one year membership to the KCBS

Andrew,

I have no idea...Usually they get one of the (local) teams to prepare the meat. They typically prepare some -good- BBQ and also some -bad- BBQ so you kinda get an idea of what you're looking for. Personally I think they could dispense with preparing the -bad- BBQ and just point you toward a couple of local BBQ restaurants (which I shall not mention by name). :wink:

I know Hot Racks and BBQ Stacks cooked for the Munfordville class last year. Just wondered if they were doing this one. I'm already a judge. I took the class down in Kuttawa in 2010. :D

Andrew, I'll ask Skinny next time I see him online, he's tight with those girls...and they DO make some darn fine "Q" (they've kicked OUR butts more than once)
