Fundraiser at The Village Anchor - February 20

I am a volunteer at the Animal Care Society on Westport Road (http://www.animalcaresociety.org). It is a no-kill nonprofit shelter that finds homes for some of the most loving dogs and cats you'll ever see.

On Monday February 20, the gracious folks at The Village Anchor (11507 Park Road in Anchorage) will donate 10% of your check (including alcohol) to ACS. All you have to do is mention Animal Care Society.

Kevin is such a class act and the Sea Hag, in the basement of the Village Anchor, is one of my favorite spaces in the the whole metro area. They have the best fish tacos in town. I dare you to prove me wrong on this! Make sure Kyle makes you up some chipotle sauce for them. Their sweet potato fries with marsh mellow sauce are also the best in town. Guaranteed!
