The Brewgrass Trail

by Rich S » Mon Feb 06, 2012 5:25 pm

DANVILLE, Ky. — A Brewgrass Trail has opened in the Bluegrass.

The newly minted Brewgrass Trail was formed to highlight the state's emerging craft beer industry and includes two microbreweries in Danville, according to The Advocate-Messenger. The initiative seeks to promote the industry in a fashion similar to the way the state has marketed its more familiar bourbon products.

It looks like the trail includes New Albanian, Cumberland and Against the Grain, but not BBC.

Just an oversight I'm sure. Adam is all inclusive, as are we all.

I hope you are right.

For the Kentucky Bourbon Trail group being listed required a membership; the organization used it to create their brand, marketing, etc. One of the original participants dropped out ( didn't feel it was worth it) and then was legally forced to remove the words "Kentucky Bourbon trail " from their marketing. ( the term is now trademarked)

Adam is also the manager for the Ky Bourbon Trail. I'll ask him.
