Home Cookin' Recipe Software - Highly Recommend

by Steve P » Mon Jan 30, 2012 2:51 pm

I recently made the decision to upgrade my recipe software...Having used Mastercook for years (with a mixed degree of satisfaction) my first inclination was to simply go with a more current version of that program. After a bit of research it became pretty obvious that this might not be the best choice as a LOT of people were/are having trouble with the latest Mastercook release (11.0). Using this as an excuse to explore some other possibilities, I set out to find a new program. After researching (and experimenting with three or four "trial" programs), I settled in on a program called "Home Cookin" (available on Amazon for $39.95). So far I positively LOVE this program. I have no idea how it compares to every program out there but...for me...This software does everything I could ask (import, export, email, meal planning, grocery listing, etc, etc). I highly recommend this software. You can get a free 15 day trial at:
