The Brewery is Coming Back

by Stephen D » Sat Jan 28, 2012 9:15 pm

Kevin Daley, a Vincenzo's alum and good friend is working with the original owners to return this Louisville classic sports bar to the scene.

He tells me the kitchen the kitchen will be open for lunch, dinner and late-night service.

They'll have various live acts and will also have a 'wall-of-T.V.'s.'

They'll be doing happy hour specials and he tells me the menu will be inventive fare for the genre.

Best of luck to the bretheren!

The corner is Baxter and Barrett. The Silo was closer to Broadway at 630 Barrett.

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification. Liked the Silo property. Saw Delbert McClinton there once.

I was driving by the silo last night and it appears to be open. Lots of neon beer signs and I think it is now called Diamond Pub or something like that.

It was a family fun center for a minute after Jillian's closed. That space was nice as the silo, Jillian's undid some of the cool stuff we built. Good if someone is making a run at it again.

I believe that's a second location of the Diamond Pub in St. Matthews (right where Lexington Road runs into Frankfort).
