Coal's Provides

by Shane Campbell » Sat Jan 21, 2012 4:56 pm

So sometime last night between the tequila shot and the beer mixer night cap (don't ask) several of the people at my end of the bar decided to go to Coal's today for lunch. I may have suggested it. It started out as four, then five, then six, then eleven.

“Do you think you should get a reservation now that you've promised these people pizza bliss?” asked my wife. Maybe........

So, a half hour before they opened and a bit more than an hour before we arrived I called to warn them. They said they would take care of us......and they did!

Eleven people, seven different pizzas, the best clam chowda I ever ate, and Andrea, our rock star server combined to provided us all with an extraordinary lunch. Everyone was congratulating me on my genius suggestion. No genius necessary, it's Coal's Artisan Pizza and Coals provides! :D

Thanks for your kind words. We did tell Andrea of your compliment. BTW my husband Mark will be at the Beer tasting at Majid's today. I hope you all get a chance to meet. ( I mean y'all)

Aaaw, I wish I'd known he was going to be there. I talked to lots of people but I didn't get everyone's name. Most of the attendees were not HByters. Holly was there. I was talking your place up to a couple of blokes sitting next to me. They thought that the pinnacle of pizza was Wicks. I encouraged them to give Coals a try.

I am looking forward to Feb 12th. I peeked at the upstairs room and it looks cozy. My wife and daughter have decided they want to go as well but they want to sit in the dinning room downstairs. Afraid they will be laughed at when they order a pepperoni only pizza!
