Genghis Grill

I noticed they broke ground today for this restaurant. Looks like a chain, similar to BD's? Not sure, as I've never been to either. It's going into the corner of the Springhurst Meijer parking lot. Across the corner from O'Charley's.

Here's their website: Genghis Grill. They are headquartered in Dallas and have 70 restaurants in 21 states at the present time. They certainly do look a lot like BD's was a little more variety and quite a few custom combinations that they make.

I saw the sign the other day, it certainly seems like a strange location because it has no street visibility!

I don't generally care much for these kinds of places, but I love the names.

My husband and I tried Genghis Grill when we were living in Houston, TX. It was just ok. We never went back a second time. There is another Mongolian BBQ chain called HuHot (I think the closest location is in Evansville, IN) that is excellent.
