Lil Cheezer's facebook page did have more details.

Has it been deleted? The page, I mean? I could have sworn that I was subscribed, but I'm not finding it at all in a search for Facebook pages and friends.

Louisville Street Food is the page, not Lil Cheezer's

The section regarding the incident that happened Saturday morning between him and North End Cafe is missing however. Not quite sure what the real story was about the whole thing, weather North End truly had a deal to exclusively provide food for the event or just thought they did. I know Lil Cheezer's was there for a little while Friday without any conflict but they didn't stay long because of the weather. I don't know who organized the event so don't know who to contact them to get the inside scoop.

Matt had a big ranting post on here over the weekend and then asked that it be deleted. The last time I saw the post, it was only the comments without the initial post. Basically the same as what was on Facebook.

Let me just say this about food trucks and winter. The weather is killing us. Only two trucks are out. Everyone else (including me) is parked. Since we're all (except one) pretty new to the truckin' biz, I don't think we properly estimated the complete lack of business in the winter. People may walk outside to go to a restaurant, but they will not stop and buy from a truck. As they walked by me I'd hear, "Oh look, it's the Dessert Truck. What a great idea!" Gosh, it would be an even better idea to stop and spend $3.

I'm not depending on the truck to support me, but I do need income from it. We'll be back in Spring - already got some things booked.

However, if your business would like us to come out and park at your parking lot, assuming you are willing to do some internal PR at your company, we're willing.

That's certainly understandable. Is parking the trucks a permanent enough state that you can't get out and seize the odd 50+ -degree day that we get here in Louisville occasionally?

The weather doesn't explain the North End business, though. I'm still curious what happened there.

I've tried being out sporadically on the warmer days and it just doesn't seem to work. And then I'm stuck with food I can't sell. It seems better when we're out pretty consistently and then people get used to looking on Fb or Twitter to see where we are. When we're out at random times, we're out of mind.

I have no additional info on the NorthEnd-Cheezer thing. All I know is what I read on Fb.

I close up for the winter. It's too sporadic and almost zero events. Last year I winterized boats in Oldham County and got a job selling flooring until it got warmer (two of my least favorite jobs of all time). It's really tough on trucks and carts. I think trying to make stuff wholesale is a good way to go to tide you over for about three months.

My integrity needs no gut check from ANYONE on this website.

With all due respect, I'd like to hear Seckman's version of the story. I know that this is not my website and I have no dog in this fight. However, I don't think it's fair to make such accusations in public without giving the other side a chance to respond (not even sure he's even a LHB member).
