Celebrity Chef! Game

by Deb Hall » Mon Oct 22, 2007 8:13 pm

Folks,

Thought you might enjoy "testing your mettle" on this mini quiz.
http://celebritychefthegame.com/

Sample question:
Q:Which of these is a possible designation for wine?
A) Dolphin safe
B) Rabbit safe
C) Salmon safe

This game could be one of my Xmas gift list items for my Gourmet Dining Group or a great party game- particularly after drinking

Thanks Deb- that was fun! I only got one wrong. I wish I had enough foodie friends to play the game with- I'd buy it in a flash.

This would be great to have at one of the few outings for Forumites!....

I played for about 10 minutes and only missed two questions (They both had something to do with wine).

A great gift idea for the Pro-Chef or Foodie in your life....

I like it too. I played until it quit and didn't miss any {preen} ... I do think the questions are pitched at a good level for reasonably dedicated foodies, ranging from reasonably easy to fairly hard, but not dumbed down on one extreme or impossible on the other.

Let me be stoopid here, but how do you know when you get one wrong? Most of the answers I actually knew, but all I ever got after answering was "Put card away."

if you got a question wrong, the correct answer will appear in bold.
if you're clicking the correct ones, you won't notice.

try clicking on something you absolutely know is incorrect, and you'll see what i mean.
(that's what i had to do because i was wondering the same thing you were)

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

You and Ethan must not have your speakers on. ;)

When you get a correct answer, it rings a euphonious "bading!" When you miss one, it give you an ugly "ker-klunk!"

i played it a few nights ago at around 3am.
my roommate would kill me with loud badings and ker-plunks blasting from the other side of the wall if he was trying to sleep.
so no, speakers not on.
