Kudos to NABC

by Jim Zoeller » Sat Oct 20, 2007 4:26 pm

My family and I went to NABC last night for some pizza, as usual, I was very impressed. Its definitely the best pizza in the area, and their beers are to die for. I was a little sad that they were out of Elector, but I can always fall back on Hoptimus. The bread sticks, pretzels, beer cheese, the pizza, the beer, and did I mention the beer? Keep up the good work, and see if you can't add a few more times in the meantime.

Thanks; we all appreciate it.

I believe Elector will be back on tap by Monday. Harvest Homecoming ran us dry, but we recently added another walk-in for keg storage, so hopefully things will get better.

Question

by Gayle DeM » Mon Oct 22, 2007 6:02 pm

All right! I’ll admit that I have never been NABC. I really don't care for either beer or pizza, but my two sons do and then some. So when they come for Christmas I will be sending them your way. But do I have to send them off by themselves or can the greater family come, which includes four chilluns under the age of ten?

I haven't been since I graduated from IUS, but my Mom and I would go often back in the day. There was some problems with smoking, but that may not be an issue now.

if you've got kids under 10

do not go on a friday or saturday night

as the pizzaria side of the NABC is a little more bar/party atmosphere

i'd suggest taking the kids on a mon, tue, wed evening

the sportstime/pizzaria side is still ALL SMOKING, but the front room at the public house/rich o's side is no smoking

enjoy

Thanks, Shawn. I totally missed the previous posting.

As for the inquiry, "what Shawn just said." Earlier in the week is definitely better.
