Arnold's for meat and three; Prince's Hot Chicken; City House for wood-fired pizza and Italian fare; B & C Market BBQ in the Nashville Farmer's market, which definitely warrants a visit!

I'm not a frequent traveler to the area, but thoroughly enjoyed all of these places. I hope this helps!

Hit up The Patterson House for sure, awesome atmosphere and cocktails, and pretty good food. I don't know that I would call it a dinner spot, more like a few drinks and snacks.

Taco Mamacita is really good, but a little pricey depending on how you perceive food value ($4 tacos, but they are pretty killer). They are toward the south side of downtown around 12th Ave. A lot of other great little places to eat in that area.

I second the recommendation for City House. Outstanding modern Italian fare.

Pork belly sandwich, about 70 tap beers. Beautifully restored train station near downtown.

Definitely Patterson House for cocktails and light dining.

Sunset Grill is always good as well.

Personally, I like Bolton's better than Prince's. Prince's has a long wait; Bolton's chicken is just as good, is available boneless if that's your preference, and is much faster.

We went to a little place called The Yellow Porch that all 5 in my party really enjoyed. I had a duck special that was outstanding and my girlfriend's salmon was quite good as well.

Relatively reasonably-priced as well.

I always recommend the Loveless Cafe (http://www.thelovelesscafe.com) ... fine country cookin' and some of the BEST homemade biscuits you'll ever eat.
