Treated to a wonderful meal at Napa. Had dined along time ago at the DuPont location; had only been to the outdoor bar at Westport Village. It was wonderful. From cocktails to appetizers to entrees and desert. Very nicely done. Busy Tuesday night, too. Good to see.
Company holiday party at Z's Fusion. It was a nice interior/layout. Appetizers and drinks only, so didn't get to try much on the menu. Biggest shrimp I have ever seen
Martini's. Ate there once when they first opened. Separate martini menu. $5 during happy hour. We each had a Woodford martini - preferred the honey version; each had a Amarula one for desert. All were good. The food was good. Had antipasta; but I think I'm burned out on antipasta now. Miss a closed Market Street restaurant version. One negative - didn't get a water refill until the end of the meal and had to ask for that. I really have to have water, especially if I'm drinking...which I usually am
Stopped in to Drake's at the Summit after the UofL game tonight to look around. Good crowd. Co-worker stopped in there Monday, first night. DJ and dancing. Bigger place than I thought it would be. We'll put it on the list.
Went to O'Sheas downtown before the game. Good beer cheese but now wish they had the wonderful pretzel bread we see so many places. Love that stuff. Really like sitting at their bar.
Now waiting on a Mama Bearno's Pizza. Haven't had that in ages and since shermangeddon, haven't had my Junior Refrigerator at Richo's. This will be a very nice substitute.
