Hanukkah Specials at the Bristol Bar and Grille East

Hanukkah Specials at the Bristol Bar and Grille East

The Bristol Bar and Grille East will celebrate Hanukkah with special menu items Tuesday, Dec. 20 to Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Beginning at sundown on Dec. 20, the restaurant will serve potato latkes with sour cream and local apple sauce ($9) through Dec. 22. On Dec. 22 only, a special menu will feature Red Wine Braised Harned Ranch Brisket ($22); Horseradish Encrusted Organic Coho Salmon with caramelized onion kugel ($20) and Olive Oil Doughnut Cake with raspberry jelly from Sweet Surrender ($5). The restaurant will also offer a variety of other daily specials throughout Hanukkah (Dec. 20-28).

Actually not, The Nosh Box in it's day always had some awsome specials for the holiday!

It was memorable, all right! If you remember, it actually came back for a short time a few years ago in a shopping center space off Hurstbourne near Z's, but that incarnation didn't last.

Les Naiman is still around town and posts heavily on Facebook, but mostly about political matters now.

The original was in the early '80s, I'd say. The short-lived Les's Deli off Hurstbourne was more recent, I dunno, sometime since 2000?
