All excellent picks in my opinion. Meridian Cafe is still good, if more traditional, and you might be interested in checking out Neighborhood Cafe, the new lunch-in-a-cone place next door to Lonnie's, just so you can say you tried it. (Mary and I liked it quite a bit, at least for a one-time change of pace.)
Of course, the Fishery is another old standard in St. Matthews. Or pick up something interesting from the Lotsa Pasta deli and eat it in their lunch spot on premises ... an often overlooked lunch option.

Just to mess you up a little more, Nam Nam Cafe is a favorite of mine, and don't forget Simply Thai! And of course Cafe Lou Lou is just down the way ...
