We are so pleased that Susi is singing again at Westport General Store.
Saturday Dec 17--Susi Wood-Smith co-owner of Shady Lane Cafe is a singer with an eclectic style and passionate voice. She has sung with Bobby McFerrin and performed in San Francisco with the Band Class Action for audiences of 5 thousand and more. Her tour of Ireland brought her acclaim by winning the prestigious Puck Fair Singing Competition and performing on radio Kerry which described her as "Brilliant" She has sung back-up with Johnny Depp and Warron Zevon, and many others. As one new york critic exclaimed " She has one of the most soulful voices I've ever heard from a white women. You are in for a treat. Susi rarely sings out anymore so this is a once in lifetime opportunity.


The specials for the night are:
Cajun quesadilla with andouille sausage, peppers and onion

Bison Skirt Steak- marinated in cilantro pesto, served with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables

Penne pasta with grilled chicken, peppers, onion in blue cheese cream sauce.

We are not going to do the $75 per person thing on NYE. We are going to do our regular menu with some groovy specials. Some talk of Lobster tails and filet.

Susi puts on a great show and she starts at 7 so if you came at 6:30, ate and stayed for some of the show you can make it an early night.
