Interesting, but misguided?

I liked it - thanks for posting. Pigeon-holing the concept as an artisan burger, though, seems a bit over-sarcastic. "Artisan" is everyone's new favorite target, so that lost it some points from me. "Scatch-made burger is impossible" would have been a better fit. Entertaining, and a nice quick read, though.

Didn't really mean it as a dis on "artisan". That's just what I thought of as he was describing how he was thinking about making a cheeseburger. I added the rolling eyes thingy because I thought he was going a bit overboard with the whole do it yourself thing.

The best part was the free range turkey killing party. Now that's getting intimate with your food.
