Just wanted to let everyone know we're debuting our Gelato of the Month Club in time for holiday gift giving. Those searching to please a finicky foodie, a darling dessert-lover or an interesting Italophile can arrange to have a gorgeous gourmet pint of gelato delivered to their door every month for an entire year.
We realized it would be a little hard to wrap gelato and put it under the tree, so we decided to create something for people to open and enjoy before their pints begin to arrive in January. That's why membership also includes a hand-printed Gelato Club linoleum cut print signed and numbered by the artist, a welcome letter and a list of flavors as well as a poster tube in which to place them. The pints will be delivered in person; delivery is restricted to Louisville and Lexington areas. Club members can also pick up their pints at Gelato Gilberto at 9434 Norton Commons Blvd in Prospect. Club Membership is $99.95 plus tax. The welcome letter, print and poster tube can also be mailed to the Gelato of the Month Club recipient for an extra $5.00.
