Tamales - yum!

by Leah S » Fri Dec 02, 2011 9:10 pm

Picked up a dozen poblano tamales from One Hot Tamale at the Louisville Farmer's Market on the second floor of Oxmoor. Fab! I want more.

I have bailed on this gig myself, but please go support the vendors who are there.

The missus brought me a mixed half dozen today. These are no joke tamales. Fine masa shell with wonderfully spiced filling. I want more too!

According to a the One Hot Tamale Facebook page, they will also deliver orders to Cooking at the Cottage. I took this to mean larger orders.

Good to know, David. Last thing I want to do in December is fight the mall crowds to get my food....

But the Farmer's Market is easy. Zip in the Old Navy entrance in the side/back, walk to the elevator.escalator, go to the second floor.

Unfortunately there's not much of a crowd up there. :(

Same here Deb. my wife and daughter were there. I stayed home with our cast puppy and asked for a mixed bag. They were good enough to brave a repeat, use Leah's shortcut.
