Farm Alliance Dinner at Harvest

by Deb Hall » Tue Nov 29, 2011 10:41 am

All,
I was forwarded the details on this dinner to benefit CFA at Harvest. Great cause, and the menu from Chef Coby and our local farmers sounds wonderful.

Local and regional foods systems can significantly contribute to economic development, better health through nutrition and the alleviation of poverty. The Community Farm Alliance (CFA) has played a crucial role in transforming Louisville's local food economy over the past decade.

It's fitting that a memorable CFA fund raising dinner featuring foods from some of the region's farming champions should be held at Harvest Restaurant, a local food pillar that has become the hub where local produce and fine dining come together.
