Jug bands

by Gary Michael » Sun Oct 14, 2007 12:25 am

I was there Saturday and it was great! All of the bands were good, but the Carolina Chocolate Drops were amazing. I listen to a lot of fiddle music (jazz, Cajun, Celtic, bluegrass, Western Swing etc) but this band just blew me away. Crowd turnout was disappointing, fewer than two hundred people while I was there from 2PM til 6PM.
