Food & Dining Aussie wine/food dinner @ Napa River Grill

by Robin Garr » Thu Oct 11, 2007 11:56 am

Food & Dining, in partnership with top local restaurants, is hosting monthly fun and educational food and drink events that may range from wine, bourbon and beer tastings to cooking classes. You'll meet the magazine's writers and columnists and behind-the-scenes staff, and have a chance to win free subscriptions, restaurant gift certificates and other door prizes.

The third of these exciting events is coming up next week, and there is still space available:

Wednesday, Oct. 17, is the date and Napa River Grill is the place for a tasting of Australian wines with Rebecca Loewy, Aussie wine specialist with Old Bridge Cellars, a respected importer. She'll bring wines that show off the variety of Australia's diverse wine regions, including Margaret River, McLaren Vale, Yarra Valley and Rutherglen, and Napa River Grill will come up with food to match. Meet and greet at 6:30 p.m., dinner's at 7, and the tab for dinner is $75 a person, all-inclusive. Call 893-0141 for reservations.

If you're still picking up your Food & Dining on the news stand, by the way (or if you haven't found it yet), you might want to get your own subscription before the Fall 2007 quarterly issue comes out next month. A full year's subscription is just $18, and comes with an $18 gift certificate from a local restaurant. Whadda deal ...

Food & Dining Magazine

Robin,

I checked the link on the Food & Dining Magazine subsrciption offer, and it says " Your subscription begins with the Summer 2007 edition, mailed in July". Surely that's not so? :?

Maybe someone will notice this and update their link with the current info...

Robin,

Well, I know I'm down a few brain-cells lately, but I'm pretty sure it won't be mailed in July...
