Dare to Care needs frozen turkeys!

by Andrea N. » Sun Nov 20, 2011 12:38 pm

I apologize if this has already been posted but I did not see anything on the forum. Dare to Care desperately needs frozen turkeys. Dare to Care supplies local shelters with frozen turkeys to feed the homeless on Thanksgiving. This year Dare to Care got no frozen turkey sponsor. If anyone can donate a frozen turkey, take it to Krispy Kreme on Bardstown Rd. tomorrow and receive a dozen donuts.

If anyone is still interested in making a donation...Kroger's has frozen Turkeys on sale for 59 cents a pound (that is a 60 cent per pound LOSS)...pick up a bird or two and drop it off at Dare to Care. Might be too late for T-giving but they'll use 'em a some point...I promise ya.
