Sweet Surrender

by Mike D » Fri Nov 18, 2011 12:43 pm

Just wanted to give a quick shout-out to Sweet Surrender. Made my third ( ) trip there in the past 10 days or so last night (yes, I drive right past the Pie Kitchen and Comfy Cow to get there). I'm consistently impressed with the quality of their product and with the knowledge of their staff. The "Manhattan" is especially addictive...please don't tell my cardiologist.

Good point! Fine place ... and so completely different from the Cow and the Kitchen that it earns attention in its own right. Thanks for pointing that up, Mike.

Jessica and her staff are always one of our first suggestions to clients inquiring about cakes and speciality desserts for their events at C.Q.

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

Thanks for all the kind words!

All the new places are a little intimidating after having the area mostly to ourselves. But we figure as long as we keep doing what we do best, we'll have no problems.

We are also very excited to have new businesses, such as the Silver Dollar, opening down at our end of Frankfort to help bring new people down this way!

I have been ordering flourless chocolate tortes from Sweet Surrender for our Passover Seder for the past several years. My family loves these tortes so much that many have requested them for birthdays too. Next I need to see if Jessical and her crew can make angry birds for a soon to be 12 year old....
