Lou Lou's POBOY FESTIVAL 11/18,19 & 20

by Clay Wallace » Fri Nov 18, 2011 12:23 pm

Join Cafe Lou Lous to celebrate New Orleans most famous sandwich--the POBOY. We're serving oyster, shrimp or roast beef with Chef Jeff's potato salad and crunchy French bread, or at least as close to N.O. French bread as possible.
To keep the Big Easy theme going, we're also featuring Abita Amber and Golden beers and $5 Hurricanes.
Come on by--remember, next week you'll be stuffed with turkey!
FYI these meal-sized tasties were named for the 'poor boys' who were in a strike on the streetcar lines in New Orleans in the 1920s. One restaurant provided free sandwiches to feed these folks.
We're located at 106 Sears Ave. and 2216 Dundee Rd. Call 893-7776 or 459-9566 for reservations.
