[quote="Amy Hoover"] Once, I purchased a round of drinks through my server for the kitchen staff quote]

Thanks Amy, For those of you who don't know, most kitchen folk would LOVE to have a drink bought for us(If the establishment allows such things) as a nod for a job well done!

Most of us "Kitchen Rats" will never see any cash, but will definately see a cocktail coming our way!

Steve: I agree that Ruth's Chris and Morton's are over priced, but the meals that I have had at Ruby's, while certainly expensive, were well worth it. Excellent service, a killer wine list, prime steaks dry-aged on premises, side dishes that are not after-thoughts, and a cool atmosphere. It's a splurge to eat there, but I really enjoy it.

I will try Jeff Rubys. I wouldn't know a good wine list from a bad one. Don't mind the money, but expect high price to equal VERY good. Thanks.

Mortons .. overpriced .. improperly cooked steaks .. really bad service.

Ruth's .. overpriced .. improperly cooked steaks .. half bad service.
